Senator Gronstal On Equality

What a great statement, on this day when Vermont’s legislature made same-sex marriage legal in their state, I bring you Iowa Senate Majority Leader Mike Gronstal: Without the support of Senator Gronstal, efforts to amend the Iowa Constitution can not move forward in the Senate. So awesome.

Iowa Rocks.

When Can I Get Married?, originally uploaded by medialicious.tv. I never thought I’d say such a thing – but Iowa rules. Today, the Iowa Supreme Court this morning unanimously upheld gays’ right to marry. This is a glorious day for equality and human rights.
