It's like brushing her: I just tell her how good she's being and how beautiful she is and she'll meow pitifully, but she'll endure it. I do have to put a hand towel on the bottom of the tub - that seems to help a lot. Chester, he has a time limit. He'll take it only for so long, then HE'S DONE. I'm not going to try and bathe Roxy...Tim probably could b/c she'll let him pick her up and manhandle her and she doesn't really fight it. Seriously, after my attempt to bathe Calvin -- the first time I've ever needed to bathe a cat -- I decided that it was worth the $40 to go to a groomer. He said, "MY CLAWS LET ME SHOW U DEMZ." And I bled. I still have scars. I'm not surprised Pixel put up with it. Roxy? No flippin' way. The only thing I’ve learned about bathing cats is this: let someone else do it.
