Sometimes you get a little of a bunch of things, and it's hard to know what to do with them...sometimes you get a lot of one thing and you can't possibly use it all (like garlic). We used Harmony Valley Farm, and I wouldn't use them again because of both of those things. Eh, CSAs are hard. You are the lucky winner! *brass band plays with streamers falling down* I'm with you on the control freak issue - I'd be afraid I'd get stuck with 2 pounds of Swiss chard and I would hate it. I just wish I lived closer to my parent's farm so I could raid their garden on a weekly basis. OOK! You are the lucky winner!

I wondered why people were starting to mention it on fb and lj! ha! It seems way too early to me! I love the idea, but honestly I'm not sure I would be able to use all the food. Plus, not having any control over what you get sortof makes me nervous. I'm not a total control freak, but just enough that I feel like *I* need to be the one deciding what I spend my grocery budget on, you know? And also, OOK. I hope I got #1000.
