Snow?!

Mystical Snow Flickrman, originally uploaded by Elsa Prinsessa.

Yes, it’s October 12th, and we’re getting snow.

Lucky for us, it won’t be accumulating as it’s supposed to be back up in the 60′s by Saturday.

Last weekend’s camping was a bust – too wet. Instead, my sister and I went for a nice long hike out at Elm Creek Park Reserve, then came back to the house to trim the hell out of the cedar bushes in front of the house. It really opened up the front of the house – pictures to come. We then went to Sawatdee for Thai food. All in all, it was still a fun weekend. Just didn’t go camping like we planned.

Still considering the moving thing, and after this weekend’s extremely early cold snap and today’s snow, moving somewhere where it rarely drops below freezing, even in the dead of winter is becoming more and more desirable. But, that’s a long way down the road.

I worry that friends and family will see this potential move as a negative thing and that we hate living here and the people here. It’s not that at all. It’s the desire to spread our wings and try something new. I’ve always wanted to live somewhere else, but never had the guts to do it. Now, I do…and someone to share the adventure with.
