I took Tim to Punch Pizza for the first time yesterday and he was amazed at how good it was. Quote: “I dare say this is the best pizza I’ve ever had.” We both ordered a Bruni (pictured above) and it was so good.
We were over by Lake Calhoun yesterday because we were en route from my friend Jen’s house to go to Trader Joe’s and it was a foodie revelation to stop at Punch since we were just blocks away.
Me: You hungry?
Tim: Yeah.
Me: Have I got a place for you.
It’s a bit spendy and Gord help you if you go in the evening – but 2:30pm on a Sunday afternoon seemed to be the perfect time to go. It’s a good thing and a bad thing that there isn’t a location that’s convenient for us to go to. Good because we’d be eating there all the time and my wallet can’t afford to eat there all the time and bad because it’s SO DAMN GOOD. Perhaps we’ll make this a Sunday afternoon tradition once a month.
Speaking of revelations, we’re working on a new project with a friend of ours that’s going to be night and day from anything we’ve done before. It’s going to be sweet.

We often think of Punch when we’re going out on weekends but we never seem to make it there. Maybe you could invite us to one of your new monthly visits…*hint, hint* =D
