Once again, Keith Olbermann echos my opinion about the Prop 8 issue.

It’s something I’ve said and have heard others say for a while now: Replace “gay” with “black” and then tell me how it can possibly be right to discriminate at this level? In 2008, the color of someone’s skin, religion or sexual preference shouldn’t matter. It’s love, not a anarchist movement. The world isn’t going to explode. The sky won’t fall. Nobody’s marriage would be made less valid nor less worthwhile if George and Brad or Ellen and Portia can get married – it just proves that they love one another and want to spend the rest of their lives together. It saddens me that something I’m free to do, something that isn’t illegal nor hurtful to anyone, is illegal for someone else to do just because they love someone of the same gender. It’s just not right.
I hope Gov. Schwarzenegger can overturn this as he’s quite opposed to it.

Well, half the problem with Prop 8 passing is SO many idiots voted “Yes” on it because they didn’t do their homework on it. Ads on TV mislead people into thinking that if it did in fact pass, children would be educated on same-sex marriage in school. I personally know a couple of morons who said that was their only beef with Prop 8…I could only imagine how many more stupid people voted “yes” on it for the same reason.
