Dear John:
You’re supposed to be getting independents and undecideds to vote FOR you, not give them a reason to laugh at you.
In politics it is generally not considered a good sign when voters are laughing at you, not with you. And by the end of the third and last presidential debate, the undecided voters who had gathered in Denver for Democratic pollster Stan Greenberg’s focus group were “audibly snickering” at John McCain’s grimaces, eye-bulging, and repeated references to “Joe the Plumber.”
I lost count to the number of times good ol’ Joe the Plumber was brought up. Joe, by the way, isn’t registered to vote and made a comment that he didn’t actually make enough to fall into the group whose taxes would be raised under Obama.
ORLY JOE?
Nineteen more days until this will be over.
Last question. What is McCain doing above? Coughing up a hairball?

Actually, ol’ Joe the Plumber is registered to vote, but apparently his name is misspelled. Which, y’know, means if the Republicans had their way, he’d be stricken from the list.
