What a day.
Last night, I showed up for my “6-10pm” training shift – only to be told that I was supposed to have been there at 9:45am that morning. When I said that he told me 6-10, he said that he probably did by accident – but that I could go to the training tonight from 6-10.
Works for me, but that means I have two nights in a row where I have to drive to work and not get home until after 10pm. Goody.
Considering the fact that I’m teetering on the edge of a full-blown cold, the thing I most want to do right now is sleep on my couch and sleep until Thursday.
But, alas, I’m at work and drinking fluids like a mo-fo and wishing I were dead. Naturally, since it is Monday, the Type-A personalities that I work with are on full-bore “give the assistant shitloads of work mode” right now. An example: I had to type out a novel of stuff for this legal document (because god forbid that we keep the electronic copy) and I had the longest run-on sentence in the world of 176 words. I hate legalese.
Since my brain is fuzzled with this cold/virus/scurvy battle, it’s really hard to focus on anything. Good times.

Only 5 more days until my sweetie is here! Have I mentioned that I can’t wait?
Heh.

Rats, I was going to check if you wanted to kick things tonight. Rar.
