There's an interesting show on NPR right now about people having big cats (tigers, lions….oh my?) as pets.

And how mistreated most of these cats are because the people buying them for pets* don't have any idea how to care for these big animals.

It's pretty sad, really.

On an unrelated note, I'm going to try to get out and do something productive today. If the weather cooperates, that is. I have a loooong list of grievances right now and I need to get over all of them. Sitting here all day isn't going to help.
